US Youth Soccer Region I Presidents Cup schedule announced

FRISCO, Texas (May 19, 2011) - US Youth Soccer is excited to announce the schedule http://idevmail.americaneagle.com/link.aspx?l=9&d=227&mid=698003&m=1002 for the US Youth Soccer Region I (East) Presidents Cup http://idevmail.americaneagle.com/link.aspx?l=10&d=227&mid=698003&m=1002 Games will be held May 28-30 at Clifton Park and Gavin Park in the Greater Capital District Area, Albany, N.Y.
The Presidents Cup provides a competitive environment for teams from across the East Region. The tournament brings together teams from the Region I State Associations, including Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York West, Pennsylvania West, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. T
he Region I Presidents Cup holds competition for boys and girls teams, ages U-13 through U-17. Matches begin Saturday, May 28 and preliminary games continue Sunday, May 29. Semifinal matches will be held May 29, with the regional champions crowned Monday, May 30. Winners of the Region I Presidents Cup will earn a berth in the National Presidents Cup, July 7-10 in Des Moines, Iowa.
