Mile High bags that go anywhere
Not everything can work in the city like it does in the mountains, as graduates of the Colorado School of Mines quickly find out. For versatile steez that'll work wherever, sling on Topo Designs.
Just releasing their 2011 collection of bags that combine a "Western/ mountain aesthetic" with a dash of metropolitan, "high-end fashion", Topo handmakes their satchels in a Mile High sewing facility to stay close to "granola culture" -- also what you call it when Louie Anderson's doctor swabs his throat to figure out what kind of cereal is stuck back there. Check out:
Daypack: A 12"x16"x 6" joint that's "durable and comfortable enough for camping/ hiking or work/ travel", it's available in black, olive, silver, khaki, or duck camo, though if your camo's effective enough, you really shouldn't ever have to.
Klettersack: Taller and more voluminous than the Daypack (which it surely mentions every day at the bag factory), this puppy's more definitively tailored to the hiker, and rocks a cinch top instead of a zipper.
Mountain Bag: Usable as a "take-to-work bag" and for overnight travel, it features a waterproof lining, "lower cinch straps for securing extra gear", and laptop padding, in case your MacBook's dressing for the seventh grade semi-formal and hasn't grown boobs yet.
The Mountain Bag also comes in a mini version, which's made with the same materials as its larger brother, but's not as tall, which coincidentally, according to every fantasy book ever, makes you well-suited to find employment in mines.
