Just opened on F Street in the former Star of India Space (newly revamped to give off a minimalistic/modern vibe), Bite's the latest counter-ordering project from the dude behind Toscana and Cafe LuLu, with the second part of its name (Mediterranean eatery) playfully abbreviated to complete the slur, also a game show that Denis Leary is kind of awesome at.

So good that high-flying Aussie Josh Kerr feels totally normal being sponsored by tight small shorts, the trunks are mostly constructed of quick-drying, four-way-stretch, Spandex-esque material with textured 2mm neoprene panels (or "Elephant Skin") on the inner thigh/ behind the knee to protect the most commonly chaffed areas, while preventing awkward slippage so you're not "constantly adjusting", since you did enough of that when your mom married Rick.

From a Broadway dancer portrayed in A Chorus Line (seriously), his better half, and a dude who used to run Bodies (though not over the border, so stop paging him about that), 98's a warehouse-sized bi-level boozery with three main areas: a couch-loaded, base-level lounge, a casual L-shaped bar, and a live performance area called The Back Room.

After recently acquiring The Se, Kimpton Hotels is ousting Suite & Tender in favor of Saltbox: a 175-seat, bi-level resto/ "gastro-lounge" with the upstairs acting as the grubbin' space, and the base level housing the classily appointed "Saltbar" with a marble-topped booze dispensary and meandering lounge interspersed with tiled pillars that look like the bodies of emaciated diamondbacks, which are all but extinct since the Big Unit departed in '04.
