Despite the software's record of reducing report turnaround time and its promise for populating and mining structured reports, 30 percent of the respondents who use the software reported frustration with it. Nuance Communications Acquires Swype for $102.5 Million Nuance, a provider of voice recognition software, announced it is buying rival company Swype for an estimated $102.5 million.
