Silver and Gold continued to inch higher during the overnight trading sessions; buoyed by Iranian geo-political worries, and a stable Euro currency.....Looking across the Atlantic we find Silver up 6 cents at $29.43.....Gold sits at $1622.00 up $4.00.....Palladium is $9.00 lower at $637.00.....Platinum is trading at $1421.00 up $3.00....Markets in general are very quiet this morning as the investment community waits to see the results of today's U.S. Non Farm Payrolls Report....The official Wall Street estimate calls for the creation of 150,000 public and private sector jobs for the December time frame...That's quite a bit lower than yesterday's ADP 325,000 jump in private jobs result ....Traders appear to taking a wait and see attitude hoping that the Wall Street estimate turns out to be understated.......The overall rate of unemployment is expected to be 8.7%; up from last month's 8.6%.....In the currency markets the Euro is changing hands at $1.2796 up 1/10th of cent against the U.S. Dollar.....Meanwhile Crude Oil is edging higher at $102.23 up 43 cents per barrel....As for the stock markets; we have Euro-zone stocks up about .7% while the Dow is being indicated to open a shaky 17 points higher....Since the employment data gets released a full hour before the stock market opening, the early indications are probably meaningless .......That's it.....Have a good morning.....I'll be back in the afternoon with a wrap up of today's action.....
