Helukabel Acquires Robotec Systems


Just yesterday, Helukabel, a German firm with a headquarters location in Elgin, Illinois, acquired Kamp-Linfort, Germany's Robotec Systems. As a result, Robotec Systems is now a fully-owned subsidiary of Helukabel, and Helukabel's robotics business arm, Helurobotics, will now be Robotec Systems. The new Robotec Systems, meanwhile, will offer up a lot more than Helurobotics was looking to do on its own.


The newly-minted Robotec Systems will be offering up a complete array of robotics-related services, including robotic cabling services, system analysis and consultation and planning services. Planning services will include most every step in the typical construction process from design and installation to warranty maintenance.


Bringing together Helurobotics and Robotec Systems allows the combined entity better overall capability in the marketplace, and gives robotic cable systems an extra chance to gain ground in a variety of industries like aerospace, consumer goods, metal fabrication, and several others... Read More
