The Playbook
Food... From a Truck, Behind a Counter & in a Freezer

Eat At: Skillet Counter
305 Harrison St; Lower Queen Anne; 206.428.6311
Already boasting a mobile food operation and a Cap Hill brick & mortar, sweet food slingers Skillet are opening a reclaimed-wood-heavy counter service spot in the suddenly cool Seattle Center Armory, where they'll be serving a combo of new and standard eats including their signature 4oz burger w/ bacon jam, arugula & creamy bleu cheese, and "breaky" options like maple-braised pork belly & cornmeal waffles that're so rich they could probably convince David Stern to move a basketball franchise to some backwater city in the middle of nowhere. Hrrummph!
Peep a few of the Counter-only items, and download the full menu, right here

For Dessert: Top Pot Ice Cream
At Various Locations
The growth of Top Pot is something the DEA constantly strives to interdict isn't just limited to new spots in practically every 'hood, because they're now partnering with Snoqualmie Ice Cream on a new dessert option -- eight doughnut-flavored ice creams like apple fritter, maple bar & espresso chip. Yep, doughnut-flavored.
Currently the creamy deliciousness is only available at their Wedgewood cafe but it'll be hitting other locations soon. Follow the Fbook for details.

Eat More: Michael's B.Bop
Since Michael's Bebop would probably never stand up to Thelonious Monk, he's opted instead to make B.Bop, short for Bibimbop -- Korean-style rice bowls topped w/ seasonal veggies and various marinated meat options -- and serve it from The Town's newest food truck.
Find 'em on Fbook now, so you can find 'em on the streets later
