Red Hots! Get Your Red Hots!: What Has Brian Luscher Been Smoking?
At The White Rock Local Market: 702 N Buckner; White Rock
Starting this weekend at the White Rock Local Market, the Grape chef will be serving up Luscher's Post Oak Red Hots, "South of Chicago"-inspired pork & beef sausages that're all-natural, house-cut/ ground/ cured/ cased & wood-smoked in a Ms. Verna smoker. Toss them in fresh buns from La Francaise, then top 'em off with scratch-made pickles, mustards, and sport peppers, which are way more fun than those lame hybrid peppers Ed Begley, Jr eats.
The market runs on every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 8a to 1p; check out Luscher's game-plan right here

L'Chaim: Standard Pour's Mazel Tov Mondays
2900 McKinney Ave; Uptown; 214.935.1370
If your interest in Jewish culture runs deeper than watching Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman get familiar, hit TSP to slurp down matzoh ball soup, or devour milk-braised chicken liver pate w/ orange-cumin marmalade, a Hebrew National dog, or a family take on the Reuben called "Nonnie's Doozies". Wash things down with a Coney Island Lager or a number from He'Brew, or go for a Charoset (applejack, vermouth, brown sugar syrup, bitters), or the yellow chartreuse/gin/herbal bitters/ginger beer/celery Seder Cup, hopefully served in a Pimp Cup so you can say "Ma-shizel Tov!"
Does "The Doctor" cocktail involve touching people on their private parts? Find out here.

Opening Up Downtown: Capriotti's Redux
902 Ross Ave; Downtown
The turkey-roasting sandwich shop (see fat creations like the Thanksgiving-inspired Bobbie on this menu) is opening its 2nd DFW location Monday in the old Magnolia gas station, in which they've erected a small museum to display some of the 1920s artifacts they found while renovating, like old maps, photos, signage, and Terrell Owens.

Go Up Top: Blackfriar Pub's New Upstairs Bar
2621 McKinney Ave; Uptown; 214.953.0599
Blackfriar's top floor features an oak bar, hand-painted murals on the walls, a semi-covered, fan-cooled deck overlooking downtown, and 16 taps, from local permanents (Peticolas, Franconia, DEBC...) to rotators like the Czech Staropramen, Maudite, and Stone Ruination 10th Anniversary, a great way to reminisce about that time drinking destroyed your life.

Rhymes With Nantucket: $57/ea for Dress Shirts that Won't Billow
Declare war on shirts that are "too long, too bulky, or (cringe now) square bottom" to wear untucked with a members-only discount on UNTUCKit's precision-length, 100%-cotton button-downs. For a measly $57 each (instead of $99-$129 retail), choose three beautifully crafted torso sheaths, from the beach club-ready Dao, to the Graves' bold red buttonhole embroidery, to the J. Van Gundy, which Stan just got confused with dessert and ate due to its orange sorbet hue.
Tell all your other shirts to tuck off with this offer from Thrillist Rewards
