The Eurozone is back in focus after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European leaders failed to come to a decision on funding for debt-ridden Greece before paying the next tranche of 31.5 billion Euros of aid, deciding instead to meet again on November 20.....The uncertainty served to pressure European stocks, and for that matter the Euro itself.....Last on the Euro $1.2680 down another 25/100ths of U.S. cent.....The Continent's stock markets are down 0.6% to 1.2%......
In late morning European metals trading we find prices mixed and little changed as safehaven buyers, and strong Dollar sellers butt heads.....Silver is $32.56 off 7 cents......Gold is $3.00 lower at $1728.00.....Palladium is changing hands at $1616.00 up $4.00 per ounce.....Platinum is up $15.00 at $1583.00......
In early electronic energy trading; a barrel of Oil is down 61 cents at $84.96....The firmer U.S. Dollar, Greek worries, and nagging U.S. fiscal cliff are the catalysts.....
Looking at the U.S. stock market we find Dow futures down 86 points for the reasons mentioned above......Unfortunately; that's it.....
