Great News for Mac users - Scorch update now available

August 21, 2013 New Releases | My Account | iPad App Dear Sheet Music Direct Mac users, We're pleased to announce that an updated version of Scorch for Mac OS X has been released. The new version is fully functional on Mac OS X 10.7 and 10.8 and is compatible with Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers on these operating systems. It will also work on Mac OS X 10.6 but is not fully compatible with all browsers. In testing internally, we have had some success with Firefox v.22 and Chrome v.28. If your Mac OS version is 10.5 or below, the new version of Scorch will not work - please continue using the version you are currently using. To see what version of Mac OS you're running, please click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen, then select "About This Mac": Click here to see a complete compatibility table. How to Install Sibelius Scorch on a Mac Once you have downloaded the .dmg file from the link above, please follow these instructions to install Scorch. Step 1 Double-click on the "InstallScorch.dmg" in your Downloads folder: Step 2 Double-click on the "SibeliusScorch620b89.pkg" to start installation: Step 3 Go through the installation process. Once it is finished, you will be able to see the interactive scores. In some cases, a "Missing plug-in" message may be displayed; if this is the case, simply refresh the page or re-start your browser. That's it!
