recruit for a new year filled with peace. I want to take this opportunity to thank
you for the interest and support you have shown to the mission of Marine Parents
and our many outreach programs this past year.
Midnight Tuesday, DECEMBER 31 is the deadline for charitable donations to be deducted
from your 2013 Federal Income Tax Return. Please consider making your donation to

Because of YOU and your unwavering support we have been able to accomplish so much
and make a real difference in the lives of so many Marines, both active duty and
veterans. In 2013, YOU, the heart of Marine Parents, made it possible for us
to

* provide meals, resources and tools to hundreds of severely injured Marines and
their families at hospitals and barracks in both San Diego and Bethesda, Maryland,
* send 3,000 care packages to troops fighting on the front lines,
* provide quick financial relief to families impacted by the government shutdown
this fall,
* provided food and utilities for a Marine veteran's family while he was hospitalized,
* take over 300 Purple Heart recipient Marines and their families to a theme park
to "get away" for a day.
This list goes on and these are only a few of the many ways we've supported Marines
in 2013 because of YOUR support. We've been providing support for nearly 11 years
to Marines and their families from boot camp through deployment and into recovery
and veteran status.
