Publishing Better Science through Better Data
Friday 14th November, 1PM – 5:30PM

Additional tickets released!

I would like to invite you to an exciting new cross-disciplinary event for researchers, Better Science through Better Data, which will be held on the afternoon of Friday 14th November at the Macmillan Campus in London.

Excellent research and publications depend on good data. This invaluable half-day conference will prepare researchers for writing better data-rich papers and grant applications, and present tools and platforms to assist them in managing and disseminating their data. Attendees will learn how to increase their chances of publishing a high quality article, more rapidly, in a high quality journal and increase the impact of their research through well-managed data.

The afternoon promises a hot line-up of speakers, including:
  • Phil Campbell (Editor-in-Chief of Nature)
  • David Carr (Policy Advisor of the Wellcome Trust)
  • Mark Hahnel (the founder of Figshare)
Additionally, Susanna Sansone, Associate Director of the University of Oxford’s e-Research Centre, and myself will be discussing how best to publish and promote your data in today’s info-saturated world.

Due to an overwhelming response following our invitation via Twitter last week, we’ve been able to release additional tickets for this free event. Registration is quick and simple, and places are strictly limited – click below to confirm your place!
