In fact, the more distributed and remote the workforce the more critical having a complete suite of unified communications (UC) capabilities has become.  This is true for all aspects of an enterprise, but is becoming particularly true for companies seeking to enable their contact centers with omni-channel interaction capabilities.  In fact, realities are that in many ways every organization has become a contact center since improving the customer experience has emerged as a key competitive differentiator.
