Lewis -- Over the past few years, we've seen the largest decline in the uninsured rate since the early 1970s and the slowest growth in health care prices in nearly 50 years. Insurance companies can no longer deny Americans coverage or charge them higher premiums because of a pre-existing condition, and they can't discriminate based on gender, or put lifetime or annual caps on benefits. Yesterday, the piece of legislation responsible for so much of this progress -- the Affordable Care Act -- turned five years old.
