Unlikely Likely Match-Up: Lara Croft vs. Nathan Drake We've gone modern today to bring to you a battle between treasure hunters that is sure to excite! With experience on her side, Lara Croft is a name that many gamers recognize. Her first game, Tomb Raider, came out in 1996, and she has since been on several more journeys. Most recently, she's even been rebooted, transforming the mature heroine into a younger incarnation of herself. As an adventurer, Lara possesses a wide array of skills. She is acrobatic, a skill often demonstrated by her ability to leap, twist, flip, and dive, even under duress. She is also experienced with firearms, particularly her iconic dual pistols, and with a bow and arrow, a weapon she uses in her reboot. Her opponent is from a more recent game series, although according to his in-game background, he is no less experienced. Nathan Drake stars in the Uncharted series, which was first released in 2007. Nathan Drake is equal parts adventurer and thief. He is callous, greedy, and selfish, but he can also be caring and compassionate. Drake is no stranger to hand-to-hand and armed combat, which allows him to take on foes with ease. While he is likely less agile than Lara, he makes up for this with greater physical strength. Both are scrappy and smart, and both are consummate hunters of lost treasure, a shared passion that could cause them to clash with one another. The question is, who would win? Would Lara charm Drake and get the better of him, or would Drake's humor throw Lara off-balance enough for him to win? Vote Now
