How I survived guitar humiliation | Mornin... I want to share some blasts from the past about my guitar history.
Before I do anything though, let me hook you up with a mini lesson of the day. I still want to keep you giving as much value as possible JUST for opening my messages.
BLUES GUITAR RIFF IN THE STYLE OF DANNY GATTON
Back when I was in college, I was just starting out in my guitar career. I was always playing scales and exercises in my room because I wanted to express myself like Jimi Hendrix (sorry if you've heard this story before).
One night my roommate got back from a night out with some buddies and a few hot chicks and they said "Claude, play us a song".
To make a long story short:
I actually only knew a few songs and I couldn't even play them well. And then one of the other dudes (who didn't even own a guitar) grabbed it and started jamming.
I was being shown up by this random bum! lol.
Yeah kinda sucked but I made sure it didn't happen again. In fact, I always make sure I have loads of hot tunes ready to go.
That's where I'm hoping to get you to, with the Ultimate Guitar Song Collection.
