Good afternoon. It's Friday, which means you made it through the week, one filled with a constant flow of updates from the new inhabitants of the White House. Trump issued 12 executive actions, ranging from trade to immigration to health care. He also had his first meeting with a foreign leader since taking office. Though a common refrain reminds us that actions may speak louder than words, you can't forget about words entirely. Especially not this week. —Megan Hess

"It can't hurt to be doing business with Jared Kushner's family," said Larry Noble, general counsel for the Campaign Legal Center. "It's a road to the administration."

Norwegian Air will take them for an inaugural spin in May, with flights starting as early as June. That has prompted questions for both Boeing and Southwest, the aircraft's launch customer that typically gets—and flies—the new plane first.

You're probably paying too much for your tax prep. DIY tax software has seen a surge in market share over the past six years, according to estimates. But brick-and-mortar tax businesses have remained stable, and human preparers have raised their fees steadily despite a brutal price war.

A guide to Trump's executive actions. So far, the president has issued 12 executive actions within his first week in office.
