A new reason for freezer meals?!!!?
We’ve adopted a puppy this weekend and we are smitten!
Finally, I have a little girl in the house with me! 💗🐶💗
This past Saturday was “puppy nesting day” and we were cleaning the house, prepping freezer meals, and making some small changes to the backyard. She is only 8 weeks old, so will be very much like having a little newborn in the house.
Therefore, FREEZER MEALS!
I'm so glad to have some easy dinner options so I can focus on potty training and crate training.
This set of meals you see below ended up being a “pantry-freezer freezer meals challenge”...basically prepping meals with what ingredients I already had on hand plus the beef roasts, chicken and ground beef that I picked up at Costco on Friday. Below you see...
- 2 Slow Cooker Shredded Beef Roasts (with a rub I had on hand!)
- 2 Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie (cream of mush soup from pandemic stockuo plus frozen veggies)
- 2 Tomato Ranch Chicken (diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, ranch packets, chopped onion)
- 1 Maple Dijon Chicken (Dijon mustard, maple syrup and a splash of vinegar)
And not pictured, I also browned 6 lbs of ground beef and made up 4 ground beef freezer meals too. These are new recipes coming soon to the apps. ;)
Now, I'm ready for all the puppy training, snuggles and playtime! (Oh my word, she is so much fun to watch and be with!)
