Recent Updates & Releases The rates of Americans under 65 without health insurance decreased significantly between 2013 – the year before many provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act took effect – and 2019. Throughout Pride Month, the Census Bureau highlighted the stories of our LGBTQIA+ employees, American Community Survey data on same-sex couples, and more. Read more about this observance as we close out the month of June. Census Business Builder version 3.4 is has been updated with new data capabilities. Per data user request, version 3.4 of the Small Business Edition includes an industry cluster feature for the first time. This feature allows data users to build custom groupings of up to 10 industries of their choosing and generate maps and reports that show the summarized data for all industries included in the cluster. In addition, data from the American Community Survey, Nonemployer Statistics, County Business Patterns, and the Economic Census are now available at the metropolitan and micropolitan statistical area levels. On the Calendar Stats for Stories and Facts for Features provide links to timely newsworthy statistics that relate to observances, holidays, anniversaries, and current events.
