| 🏦 First Republic Bank has become the third bank to fail in recent months and the giant JPMorgan Chase will assume all of its assets, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The FDIC said the deal avoids the agency having to use its emergency powers and would minimize disruptions for customers. Under the deal JPMorgan Chase is set to take on "all of the deposits and substantially all of the assets of First Republic Bank" after the FDIC confirmed that the troubled bank had collapsed on Monday. 🚨 Authorities are continuing the search for Francisco Oropesa, the suspect connected to an "execution-style" shooting that killed five family members in Texas, including an 8-year-old boy, on Friday night. Oropesa is still on the loose, likely armed with an AR-15-style rifle and considered a "threat to the community." The FBI has "zero leads" on where Oropesa could be, officials said Sunday while announcing an $80,000 reward for information leading to his capture. 🤍 Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion Shaquil Barrett's 2-year-old daughter drowned in a swimming pool Sunday at the Pro Bowl player's Tampa Bay residence. Barrett's 2-year-old daughter, Arrayah Barrett, was subsequently taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead despite life saving measures taken following the incident, authorities said. Police said the investigation remains open and that the incident was "purely accidental." 🥗 Jenny Craig, the popular weight-loss company, reportedly plans on shuttering the doors of hundreds of its physical weight-loss centers across the country to undergo an upheaval and focus on growing an online business. The company alerted employees to potential mass layoffs on Friday. 👜 A toddler stole the show during a meet and greet between Princess Kate and local community members in Wales on Friday in an adorable moment caught on camera.
