But he was wrong. The former PM is in a stew over beef cuts, after details of a remarkable dinner with the Australian PM Scott Morrison revealed how Boris blundered the post-Brexit trade deal. He agreed to measure beef by the weight of cuts, rather than the entire cow – allowing much more Aussie imports in. The gleeful Australian ambassador rushed off to the loo to have the concession formalised and ready for Boris to sign.
