What to know: The food aid group — founded by celebrity chef José Andrés — said seven of its workers were killed in Gaza yesterday, including a U.S. and Canadian dual citizen.
Other developments: An Israeli strike in Syria killed a senior Iranian commander, Iran said yesterday. It was a major escalation in Israel's war on Iran-supported Hamas.

Why? To prevent his assets from being seized while he appeals the ruling against him in New York. If he loses the appeal, he will owe more than $450 million.
In other Trump legal news: The judge in Trump's hush money trial, set to start April 15, expanded a gag order following his attacks against the judge's daughter.
What else to know: The stock price of Trump's social media company plunged by more than 21% yesterday after it revealed last year's losses.

What the ban does: Outlaws abortion after six weeks of pregnancy, before many know they're pregnant, starting May 1. It will all but eliminate abortion access in the South.
But it might not be for long: The court also ruled yesterday that an amendment to enshrine abortion rights in the state's constitution can go on the ballot in November.

Who is he? Murdaugh was part of a once-powerful legal dynasty in South Carolina. Last year, he was convicted of killing his wife, Maggie, 52, and son Paul, 22.
The latest: Yesterday's sentencing came after Murdaugh pleaded guilty to 22 financial crimes in September. He was already serving two life sentences.

What we know: The worker had contact with cattle infected with the virus that has recently rampaged through dairy cows in five states, officials said yesterday.
Why it matters: Experts worry the virus could evolve to spread between people. But the Texas worker is only the second human case in the U.S., and the risk to the public remains low.

Why? The agreement is part of a settlement from December brought by people who were tracked while using "Incognito" mode on Chrome, according to a new court filing.
Zooming out: Google has increasingly begun settling lawsuits related to its data collection practices. This agreement could lead to more lawsuits.

Last night: Iowa, led by Caitlin Clark, beat LSU in a rematch of last year's national title game. Connecticut, South Carolina and N.C. State make up the rest of the Final Four.
What's next: Undefeated South Carolina faces N.C. State on Friday in Cleveland, and Iowa takes on Connecticut. The men's Final Four games are Saturday in Arizona.
