Now let's get to the news.   President Biden said he will cut off offensive weapons to Israel if it invades Rafah. Why? U.S. weapons have been used to kill civilians in Gaza, Biden acknowledged yesterday, and a full-scale invasion of the crowded city of Rafah could kill many more. In related news: The Biden administration postponed the delivery of a report to Congress on whether Israel's use of U.S. weapons has violated U.S. or international law. Read this story         ​​Donald Trump asked oil CEOs to raise $1 billion for his presidential campaign. What we know: Trump told executives at his Mar-a-Lago Club last month that he would reverse Biden's climate policies if he wins in November, The Post reported this morning. Why it matters: It shows the contrast between Trump and Biden — who has finalized 100 new environmental regulations — on climate policy, a key campaign issue. Tornadoes and thunderstorms caused damage in at least a dozen states from Missouri to the Carolinas. At least three storm-related deaths were reported. Today: More severe weather is expected, with the risk spreading to much of the South and Mid-Atlantic. Destructive hail is forecast in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. What to know: The independent presidential candidate contracted the worm years ago while traveling, and it ate a portion of his brain before dying, his campaign said yesterday. How does that happen? People can accidentally ingest worm eggs from the feces of an infected person, usually through food or water. The eggs then hatch inside the body.
