Trump posted a direct link the Newsmax column earlier today, bringing the piece to his millions of Truth Social followers. In his column, Ruddy argues that Trump's second term has produced significant gains across the economy, border security, and public safety, while acknowledging challenges including elevated energy prices and interest rates. Ruddy points to record stock market highs, tax cuts, and the administration's deregulation campaign as signs of economic strength. On crime, Ruddy cites FBI figures showing violent crime falling 9.3% in 2025, including an 18.1% decline in murder. He also credits Trump's tougher immigration enforcement with sharply reducing illegal border crossings.
