The folks behind Conshy's Blackfish are bringing white linens and revved-up seafood to the old ¡Cuba! digs in Chestnut Hill, serving a six-course chef's tasting menu along with a la cartes like Santa Barbara sea urchin with whiskey custard, a fluke crudo with edamame and ponzu, and a John Dory with walnuts, feta, and baby squash, or how to lose your job at the nursery quite quickly.

PCC's doing up March Madness in style, running their own bracket with cigar-packed prize bundles and crashing the huge humidor and leather lounges of Ashes for a Saturday viewing party, with the nice-'n-cheap $15 admission including a cigar sampler pack with a 1964 Anniversary Principe and Padron 2000, which's said to have a "regular burn" and a "good draw", so it beats Jason Kapono/the Sixers.

Adding a new layer to the phrase "do it yourself", The Hacktory's teaching you how to make a very adult plaything of your own, starting with a guest speaker discussing her own creations, then moving to a workshop where you put your learning into practice. They recommend bringing supplies like "vibrating motors, microcontrollers, and salvaged fabrics/ rubber/ leather/ bike tubes", and say that no experience is necessary, although that's kinda why you're making the toy in the first place, isn't it?
