Howl at the Moon

Replace "pistols at dawn" with "Sex Pistols around 9:15" at dueling piano bar Howl at the Moon, a sing-along-ready, admittedly un-hip fun factory opening up this week in a subterranean space anchored by a brightly lit stage ready to host a rotating phalanx of local ivory-ticklers backed by a full band.
Like the bloodstream you'll need to stand up and really belt one out, the place is full of booze, with six Denver Chophouse brews on tap, and 24oz concoctions "to share" like the Strong Island Iced Tea with vodka/ rum/ gin/ 1800 Silver tequila, and an insanely large, fruity rum bucket with grenadine/ orange/ pineapple/ 151.
If singing and drinking makes you hungry, there're bar snacks like mini pizzas, buffalo wings, chicken quesadillas with melted Chihuahua cheese, and pork green chile "Howlin' Nachos", which you'll have no choice but to wolf right down. Ahwoooooo!
The songs, by the by, will be almost exclusively determined by the crowd, who will, in return, be highly encouraged to both sing along and dance, though unlike dueling venues of the past, they won't hold a gun to your head.
