SWELTERING HEAT WAVES ARE SHATTERING RECORDS AND KILLING PEOPLE. The climate crisis has wrought scorching temperatures across the U.S. and the world – it'll keep getting worse until we take serious, global action. Last year, President Biden committed to advance climate-conscious global financial policies. Yet, as temperatures and sea levels have been rising, his Treasury Department still has little to show on these policies. Don't let them waste any more time. Tell the Treasury Department to release a climate-conscious plan for global financial policy. Current global financial policies include pro-fossil fuel approaches that drive the UNBEARABLE heat baking our communities. Some of these programs have even facilitated new fossil fuel development in Mozambique, while forcing countries like Pakistan to adopt policies favoring fossil fuels over green solutions. We need a global effort to support sustainable technologies, not suppress them. And what does the U.S. have to say about these damaging policies? We don't know. Because the Treasury Department doesn't have a plan… yet. Your action could make the difference in climate policy across the entire world.
