The week ahead

Tuesday | With no live sport on Monday, our coverage begins on Tuesday with the Women’s Champions League and updates on Inter against Manchester City (8pm).

Thursday | The big Women’s Champions League tie on Thursday night comes in the shape of Barcelona v Arsenal in a 5.45pm kick-off. We shall provide minute-by-minute updates from that. In the men’s game, England take on Croatia in the Nations League at 7.45pm and, with Thomas Tuchel’s side eyeing a spot in the quarter-finals, we’ll bring the live updates from Wembley.

Friday | We’ll be up early (3.30am) to bring you over-by-over coverage of the first ODI against Australia as England’s men gear up for the Cricket World Cup with a match in Perth. We’ll have our usual Friday football live news blog running from 9am throughout the morning and afternoon, before our minute-by-minute report from Scotland’s Nations League clash with North Macedonia, which kicks off at 7.45pm.

Saturday | The international break means it’s a slightly quieter Saturday than normal, but we’ll still start the weekend coverage with our matchday live blog from around 8am. Then it’s on to the Women’s Super League clash of the titans between Chelsea and Manchester City – the hitherto perennial champions against the team that dethroned them – at 1.30pm, which we will cover on a minute-by-minute basis, of course. At 5pm we’ll bring you live coverage of Norway v Wales in the men’s Nations League and at 5.20pm we’ll have rugby union and England v Japan in the Nations Championship.

Sunday | The second ODI between England and Australia starts in Perth at 3.30am and we’ll be up early to bring you over-by-over updates. Matchday live kicks our football coverage off again at 8am, before more WSL action, with Arsenal hosting the super-ambitious London City Lionesses, kicking off at 4.30pm. We will cover that and the big one in the men’s Nations League later on, as England travel to world champions Spain hoping to top their group. That is an 8pm start. We’ll also bring you updates on the latest NFL matches throughout the evening.
